True, but Hefner never did anything illegal to get where he is. Well, at some point, I'm sure he did, but he never killed anyone. Playboy isn't even that raunchy. They show a tad more skin than Maxim or Stuff Magazine.

I definitely agree with the second part of this, but Hefner himself is no better or worse than, say, Bill Gates or Rupert Murdoch. So, he built an empire based on offering a product that many, many people want. It's not like he's holding these women at gunpoint to take their pictures.

This article really pissed me off. Rocky is absolutely as important as Network or Taxi Driver. Cinematically, it more or less created the plot structure that practically every sports movie since then has followed. Sure, it wasn't dark or "independent", but not everything has to be depressing...
