I think it is a foregone conclusion the U.S military will always leave billions worth of equipment behind when leaving a major conflict..Eisenhower warned us about the military-industrial complex. A big part of our economy is now dependent on the defense industry. All that 'abandoned' equipment...

Guess you missed the part where Trump agreed to a deal with the Taliban in 2020 to pull out if they 'promised' not to sponsor terrorism. As part of the 'deal' he released 5,000 Taliban back into the field and reduced troop levels to 2,500. That was when the Taliban had taken back the country...

Trump spent months pulling out of that hell hole leaving only a measly 2,500 troops by the time he left office...not a peep out of the cons..Biden pulls out the last 2,500 and NOW the cons scream...(chuckle)

After four years of lying and incompetence the American voter is used to it by know, they think is is the norm.

They had three months to get out..why they decided to stay until the very last minute is anyone's guess.
