new China fighter jet looks exactly like American jet..good job Crooked Hillary & your hacked emails

It looks more like a Russian PAK-FA (T-50) with the wing setup of a Eurofighter Typhoon.

Hillary violates national security at last night's debate?

I don't believe that it's exactly common knowledge, but if one researches the strike equipment involved and military history, it's probably buried in there. Still not a wise thing to put the information out there for all to see, as well as confirming what could be dug up. Thank goodness for the...

Spotify ads slipped malware onto PCs and Macs

I don't think that it was Spotify's fault, so much as it was whatever ad server that Spotify contracted. I've heard of it happening on a few different legit websites, although most were ads that locked up or crashed users' browsers. Many, if not all, of the affected sites quickly changed...

Background Checks ARE The Best Way

How would this proposal - or any universal background check for that matter - prevent even one of the following situations? 1) Bad Guy steals firearm 2) Bad Guy buys a firearm from a fellow Bad Guy (or even a private non-Bad Guy seller) 3) Bad Guy has spouse/sibling/etc. with a clean background...

The surprisingly simple way Egyptians moved massive pyramid stones without modern tec

Ramps up against the sides, not straight out. Ends up sort of a square spiral. Makes for more manageable angles and lengths.

Obama Using UPS Jets To Ship Refugees All Over America

In the interest of being factual, the plane in the photo was decommissioned in 2007. AviationDB - Aviation Database - Aircraft N946UP Photo: N946UP (CN: 19721) United Parcel Service (UPS) Boeing 727-25(QF) by Radek Oneksiak If that photo was supposed to be of the actual plane doing the hauling...

    Happy Independence Day

While that's a large part of the problem, one has to factor in another angle: Those that are "offended" for profit. "Profit", in this case, being either monetary (via Civil suit) or media notoriety. One has to wonder just how many would be offended by something if there was minimal/no chance of...

How Do We Eradicate Partisanship From American Politics?

It might not be slower, but even if it was - would that necessarily be a bad thing? When there are some Bills going through that rival War and Peace in size, there's no way humanly possible for anyone to read them completely - let alone comprehend them - in the time before a vote is taken as it...

Microsoft pays woman $10,000 over forced Windows 10 upgrade

But that's not the point. The point was, the lady got something that she neither asked for nor needed, and when it was forced on her, it caused business losses. If M$'s so-called "tech support" would have had a good enough grasp of English to talk her through a rollback to 7, she wouldn't have...

How difficult is it to change a car oil filter?

Good point. It's a pain - in more ways than one - to do engine work within minutes of it being shut off. I've found the best time to change oil is after the car has sat for 45 minutes to an hour, or less if the weather is cold. It allows the oil to drain more quickly, since it's thinner than...

Walked into Best Buy to get a cover for my tablet today

I'd love to try some of the new VR gadgets, but the last time I did back in the day (Duke Nukem 3D - era), I ended up with an hours-long headache. And that was after only about 20 minutes of playing time. Didn't wear glasses or anything then, and still don't (except to read), so I don't know...

Honest debate: Libs...would the "AR15-pistol" w 10 Rd mag still be an "Assault Weapon"

It isn't. There's no shoulder stock, nor is there a provision for attaching one.

PTSD from AR-15 Assault Rifle is Real

There are simply no words....:lmao: I wonder how "traumatizing" it would be for him to shoot a few rounds of 12ga 3" Magnum w/ 2oz of #4 shot (common for turkey hunting). It'd probably shatter every bone in his upper torso, and leave him bleeding from the ears to boot.

I am thinking about buying a gun......

If that's your price range, you have a lot of options. If I had that kind of budget, I'd go for: P30SK - Heckler & Koch They run about $700. By the way, I've never been a big fan of Glocks. I've shot both a 9mm and .45 version, and neither impressed me much. I think that the grip angle is what...

I am thinking about buying a gun......

I've had a few Tarus (Taurii?) over the years, and never had an issue with any of them. To me, they seemed to be solid, affordable weapons. The only one I had any issues with was a PT22, and that was because it was too small for me.
