the far right reactonaries want a miniseries of Rick Perry starring Leondardo di

Another good reason to reduce consumption of mainstream "news."

One highly recommended alternative source of international news and various items of general interest is RT (Russia Today). Watch it on the tv or link to live feed here: On air ? RT

And, of course, there's BBC -- always far more substantive and truthful than any mainstreat source.

But give RT a try. It's good. Just click on the link and see for yourself.

Too bad that names Punkd and Jackass have already been used as titles as they would have been perfect for her show.

TCA: NBC Orders Hillary Clinton Miniseries - 2013-07-27 17:07:10 | Broadcasting & Cable

this fucking bullshit has got to be the most outrageous non sense any broadcasting Co. has ever come up with, i can see it now, nothing but lies, LIES and more LIES !!

most of us have seen or heard about the life of this bitch and now NBC is going to make a porno movie about her.., WTF ?? then to gussy it up with a decent looking Diane Lane, this is just too too much.

i believe the liberals will suck it up like free ice cream on a hot summer day.., but ! get this:
Greenblatt said he didn’t think the project would be affected whether or not Clinton decides to run for President in 2016.
please people.., please someone tell me this really is a big fucking joke being played on the American people.

i gotta stop before i :puke3:

And to think Tennessee Williams still has plays and screenplays not yet performed. What IS the world coming to?

Who cares? I haven't watched anything on NBC is ages. They are a non-entity as far as my life is concerned.

And that's all that matters to me. ;)

I don't watch the 'alphabet channels' either. The come with cable service but, really, they are the REASON people take cable and get satellite dishes!

NBC is in it for the money, which is American capitalism.

This really should be a non issue.

I seem to remember that there was a movie about the 9-11 attacks that was incredibly sympathetic to George W. Bush. It aired in 2003 and no one considered it "electioneering".

DC 9/11: Time of Crisis (TV Movie 2003) - IMDb

Bush will use third anniversary of 9-11 as electioneering platform
Bush will use third anniversary of 9-11 as electioneering pl

...

The complainant alleged that the release and distribution of FAHRENHEIT 9/11 constituted an independent expenditure because the film expressly advocated the defeat of President Bush and that by being fully or partially responsible for the film's release, Michael Moore and other entities associated with the film made excessive and/or prohibited contributions to unidentified candidates. The Commission found no reason to believe the respondents violated the Act because the film, associated trailers and website represented bona fide commercial activity, not "contributions" or "expenditures" as defined by the Federal Election Campaign Act.[7]

Both sides used it...:eusa_shifty:

Wasn't what I asked. I asked where you guys were objecting to the Bush propaganda film in 2003.
