At the start of WWII, before Japan and the US were involved, if Russia and Germany had "switched teams", how would the early war have gone?
One thing I was thinking, is that Italy during that era may have had some difficulty fending off a full-scale invasion by a combined Germany, France, and England. Russia would have invaded Poland and Germany while the Germans and Poles held them off and Germany sent as many troops as they could spare to help France and England try to conquer Italy. Then, they would try to combine to fend off Russia.
