The only semi-rational explanation for masses of people to actually support a government that is actively ruining their lives is that our media has become a 5th column that has created a level of tribalism and hate that gives these suckers a dopamine rush when they blame "the other side". It only gets worse from here.

What if you find that based on Federal taxes, state taxes, local taxes, gas tax, sales tax, parking fees, license fees, speed cameras, tolls, hidden taxes of all sorts......

....and the most regressive and insidious tax, inflation.........amounted to more than half your income at least?
Taxation to the point of slavery......or, at least serfdom.

"The way to crush the bourgeoisie is to grind them between the millstones of taxation and inflation."
Lenin

Democrats learned quite a bit from their forebears.

Real inflation is between 25-30% right now, with no end in sight.
Used car prices are up 20%. I was looking at Corvettes and Mustangs as I wanted a new toy. Not a new one, but some low mileage Z06, or Shelby say 2016-2019.

It's really not worth buying them right now as the prices are through the roof and for certain models the prices for a used car are now actually more than what it cost to buy them new in the model year they were released. It's a seller's market.

So me? Now I am waiting because I know with Joe Biden in office, the economy is going to crash in the next couple years, and if the supply chain isn't totally trashed by Biden and his incessant regulation writing and war on the American Economy, there will be a crash and then a glut of New and Certified Used Vehicles on the market. I look for this to happen after The Midterms as Biden and his handlers will get more desperate to push their Anti Business Green Religion Agenda through The Bureaucracy like he has done since he was installed into office.

Consumer price inflation, UK: August 2022

The Consumer Prices Index (CPI) rose by 9.9% in the 12 months to August 2022, down from 10.1% in July. Similar to the CPIH, the rate had risen sharply over recent months before easing in August.

The July figure was the highest annual CPI inflation rate in the National Statistic series, which began in January 1997.

Analysis: French paying dearly to keep inflation 'poison' at bay

Subsidies and aggressive price caps on energy have helped shore up consumer spending in France, and with it economic growth.

But maintaining these costly inflation-relief measures is getting harder, and weaning households off the state's largesse may unleash a new wave of price rises down the line, some economists say.

[snip]

Though a record high, inflation in France was only 6.6% in August, enviably lower than the 8.8% seen in Germany and the 9.9% in Britain.

That said, inflation is running hotter on this side of the Atlantic. Why? One main factor, almost surely, is that the economy of the United States has recovered faster than that of Europe.

LET'S GO BRANDON!

[snip]

But while overheating is a problem, we shouldn’t let it overshadow the good things that have happened. We recovered fast from the pandemic recession and seem to have avoided the long-term “scarring” effects that many feared. Most though not all of the inflation we’re experiencing reflects probably temporary global forces, and multiple indicators — consumer surveys, professional forecasters and financial markets — suggest that longer-term expectations of inflation remain “anchored,” that is, inflation isn’t getting entrenched in the economy.

And this applies...why?

Because you're a Nazi.....and you support this?

The Democrat Party is now running on full-blown anti-white racism,

socialism,

infanticide,

opposition to free speech,

standing with criminals and felons rather than law-abiding citizens

substituting illegal alien voters for the American citizenry,

support for rioters, arsonists, murderers, and anarchists,

accepting payment from Communist China for future considerations,

and anti-Semitism… the knuckle-dragging, atavistic pagan party.

Now......which is your favorite?

Obama took most affordable post-war vehicles out of the market with his "Cash4Clunkers" program and used taxpayer money to do it with. It was a triple or quadruple attack on the US economy.

Less affordable cars; And parts houses, junkyards, mechanics, and used car lots all shut down by the thousands.

It was much more devastating than most people realize.

High energy prices, high car prices, and expensive gasoline hurt the working poor and the middle class the most. Try to tell a young struggling family that they should be happy with $6.00 a gallon gas when they are also paying high grocery bills, and paying inflated prices to heat their homes.

No one cares about Climate Change Fantasy Land Cults when your belly is grumbling and your kids are hungry and you can barely afford the gas to get to work.
