Why do you want to ban a class of weapons that's involved in a very small minority of crimes?

Excellent observations. Of course, the left is not attempting to curb the rare mass shootings. If saving lives was the goal, they'd start with the gangs and drug cartels, which they've all but ignored. It is a another attempt to fulfill their dream of eventually banning guns in the U.S. They can't just outright trample on our rights, but think that if they simply chip away at them, little by little, then eventually they will crumble. That's usually how it goes in other countries. Once they get to a certain point, the masks come off and they reveal themselves for who they are- wannabe dictators and then they begin ordering people to obey. By that point, our constitution and bill of rights will have been sufficiently shredded to the point where we can no longer refer to them to defend our freedom and liberty.

It also helps the left continue to falsely portray the right as a bunch of heartless, gun toting bible thumpers.

Everything our founders held dear is under siege and those who continue to sing the praises of our founders are now deemed radical.

The media is instrumental to the left's agenda and have gone above and beyond to convince the public that our founders were wrong, rights are whatever the government gives you and liberty is for the extremists. Israel is our enemy, radical Muslims are our friends regardless of how many people they murder in cold blood. Christianity is a bad thing and the opposite of that should be taught to our children. Wealth should be limited and those over the limit should be punished. Everyone is entitled to the labor and earnings of others. A police state is the only protection we need, unless you are one of the elite politicians. Christmas is reduced to a atheist holiday. Try doing that with Ramadan.

There are so many bogus polls out there now making all kinds of wild claims. I guess the media would have us believe that the vast majority support the left's agenda despite a close election.

They toss these stats out there and quickly proceed with their plan before the dust settles and the truth is known. Of course, those dependents they've created don't give a damn about the serious issues we face or any laws imposed. They merely want to be taken care of and will give up their rights in exchange for that check.
