I was very young when I started working with and socializing with muslims-----I was not yet 20 when I read the koran-----MANY DECADES ago. I learned about islam FROM MUSLIMS. Why did you ask that of the previous poster? Is there something in the post which you find incorrect? Have YOU spent time with muslims? Have YOU read the koran? Have you been in a mosque? Muhammed was a scammer. At his wifes insistance he got involved with trying to settle disputes among the arabs. His elevation to profet status is dubious at best. Reading the Koran is a waste of your time.

According to him, Jesus will return, but in favor of the Muslims, arriving to symbolically break the cross, in order to show how wrong Christians are. But it is the Christians who get to read the source documents—the New Testament—and interpret them; Muhammad did not know them, but picked up what little he knew from fragments of tales and apocrypha that circulated around the trade routes of Arabia. Therefore, later Muslims do not have carte blanche to distort Christian teaching, either.


Be that as it may, al—Aziz Qari says that Islam will dominate the world, if only when Jesus returns. Until then, conflict and war between the Camp of Belief (Islam) and the Camp of Unbelief (Christianity and Judaism) will never cease. Clearly, this sheikh's rant and distortions are inspired by early Islam.


Finally, in a sermon at the Old Mosque in al—Jumaa, Saudi Arabia, Mullah Abd al—Majid ibn al—Aziz al—Deheishi predicts victory for Islam as surely as the sun rises:

He who doubts the victory of the [Islamic] religion is like he who despairs that the sun will not rise after darkness falls...


Taking his inspiration from early Islam, al—Aziz al—Deheishi cites as proof for his prediction a hadith that says the rocks and trees will cry out that there are Jews hiding behind them, and then will all the Jews be killed, and finally Islam will be victorious (in bold print, below):

For the contemptible Jews ... is foreseen an encounter with the nation of Muhammad, as it is said: 'The Day of Judgment will come, when the Muslims will fight the Jews and kill them until the Jew hides behind the stone and the tree. The stone and the tree will say: O Muslim, O worshipper of Allah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him' — except for the gharqad (thorny bush) tree, which is the tree of the Jews. These texts are certain proof of the victory of the religion of Islam.


From all of these quotations and from the commentary on the three Quranic verses, it is evident that terrorists, extremists and even moderates believe that Islam should be spreading not only in the Greater Middle East, but all over the world. This has been seen in the comment of moderate Yusuf Ali that the expansion of Islam amounts to God's endorsement (see 48:28, above), and in the claim of intellectual 'activist' Qutb that the world must abandon western Christianity (embodied in the US) and eastern Christianity (embodied in the Russia).

Islam must tackle materialistic America and Russia because Christianity is too weak to do so.

I have spent considerable time with Muslims. Those that are mainstream are usually good people tied to a good culture. Those that qualify as Radical Islamics are totally evil. They are militant and see all weak Muslims and non Muslims alike (Infidels - Who need to be converted to Radical Islam or killed.)

When I was going through Naval Officer Candidate School in 1977-78, Iranian officer Candidates were enrolled in our school in Newport Rhode Island. A group of them were very secretive and were not very social. They did not even want to talk to those of us Americans who were infidels. You could see an almost crazed look to their eyes when we came into their activities accidentally.

It is my nature to be an early riser. In a barracks situation like OCS was, I would get up before revellie so I could shave brush my teeth and shower without waiting in line. When I walked into the bathroom area at 0430 in the morning, I came upon one of those fanatical weird eye types of Iranians. He had his crotch all lathered up and was shaving beneath his testicles with an oldfashioned straight razor. That looked weird as hell to me, so I asked him what he was doing, while keeping a safe distance from that straight razor.

He looked at me and said, "Must be clean for Allah. Must shave all body hair!"

It seemed really strange that Allah would insist that a guy undergo razor burn to his scrotal sack and anus area, so right then and there I decided to avoid those crazy fruitcakes.
