Why don't Democrats know the difference between Gays and Homosexuals?

It is very encouraging to read these numbers

30 years ago you couldn't get 5% of the population to vote pro-gay rights on ANY issue!

and here we are, 30 years later, and gays are out and about everywhere!

they have their own tv shows!

they live in our neighborhoods and are our friends
our children
our co-workers

and most of us just don't care anymore!

a few years ago a poll indicated that 63% of the population would SUPPORT gay SPOUSAL benefits!

and now more than 50% of the population would have no probem allowing gays to serve OPENLY

America sure is becoming MORE and MORE liberal ALL the time!

men and women living in long term relationships WITHOUT being married

blacks and whites marry and NOBODY cares!

most everyone has sex before marriage
more and more people are waiting longer and longer before getting married
divorce is easier to get
less and less people are suffering through lives of quiet desperation because they dare not divorce

women serving in the military
blacks and women and gays in ALL the military institutions
ATHESIM is on the rise! with up to 15% of the population!

a black president!

20 years ago all of these things would have been a conservatives worst nightmare....

little by little America is becoming more progressive

Well yes the mother and children can get medical benefits that way.

Our medical system promotes living in sin and fatherless families.

The wording of the question proved to make a difference. Seven in 10 respondents said they favor allowing “gay men and lesbians” to serve in the military, including nearly 6 in 10 who said they should be allowed to serve openly. But support was somewhat lower among those who were asked about allowing “homosexuals” to serve, with 59 percent in favor, including 44 percent who support allowing them to serve openly.

In the 'gay men and lesbians' group, 60% said okay. In the other group 59% said okay. No frigging difference at all.

Ummm, no. Read it again....Approx 70% of those asked about "gay men and lesbians" said they should serve, and approx 60% said they should serve openly

But approx 59% of those asked about "homosexuals" said they should serve (compared to the 70% for gay men and lesbians) and 44% said they should serve openly (compared to 60%)

So, yes there was a significant gap...70 versus 59 and 60 versus 44.

This would work out better for you if they surveyed the same group of people.
