Because Republicans don't negotiate with terrorists haha!!

Just joking. But seriously, look how the union membership is acting! Literally like children, skipping school, running around in the streets. They have signs depicting him as Hitler, Mubarak, calling him a dictator, saying they need a Cairo style overthrow, a few even implying death threats. WHY would he sit down with any of them? And most of all, the union members are acting like this because of simply balancing a budget!!!????

The Gov is trying to avoid layoffs. He isn't crippling their work place. He isn't forcing them to work 80 hour weeks (like our military and police men often do). He isn't slashing their salary. He's simply asking them to pay 50% of what the private sector pays for it's benefits. They'll still pay 50% LESS than private sector pays.

But these selfish, freedy, spoild union members decide to take to the streets like children and bring Madison to a near riot.

And don't forget this:

Doing what they have accused others of...*imagine that* ?

Wow, I didn't see that one yet. Calling for violence, huh? Of course, the unions were the ones actually committing violence in the Tea Party rallies.

Hey, wait a minute..........I smell a "Tea Party Protest vs WI Union Protest" thread for comparison of the two.

These Unions would rather be content with robbing the taxpayers blind. it shows in their actions.

Exactly the point. That was posted a couple days ago (Thursday), and of course the Statists deny it as it was in the videos being posted all over the net. That was a still shot from one of the vids.

Fox News, The Number One News Source in America just reported that all the Pro Walker folks are going to be out in the streets today.. Keep your eyes wide open. The Tea Party meets the Thug Party.

The unions don't realize that the hard truth it that the cozy ride is over. The economy can no longer support the unions.

Lefties wanted global wealth to rise, but with this increased equality comes a US economy thats not as dominant, and thus, not as capable of giving it's people extremely generous pension and benefit deals.

The cozy union ride is over. Liberals just dont wanna accept it. Kind of like a rebellious teenager when told he must make his own car payment.

Wow. I smell some violent encounters coming. 100% chance it will be coming from the union side.

Why does the governor not sit down with the unions, I think its because Governors negotiate with the State Senate, in Wisconsin the Democrat Senators are hiding or left the state. Literally.

So we see what compromise means to Liberals, we compromise and give the Democrats a 100% of what they demand and that is a Soviet style socialist nation.

Liberals and Socialist constantly chip away, each time they get elected they pass another part of their agenda, nothing is ever gave back, we never meet in the middle, we simply move closer and closer to being the USSR of the past.

Yes it sound crazy, I will be labeled a kook, yet when I discuss this with people in Spain while working there, when I discuss this with co-workers from Bulgaria they state that they can not beleive the direction the USA has been going for the last 20 years. They state its Marxism. How does a person from an ex-Communist-Soviet state see us as being Marxist or at least being very close.

Wisconsin shows us the new Democrat party for what it is, that is one goal, total control over every single aspect of everyones life.

Not to mention they are actively, willingly destroying our country.

Unions, teachers, overspending, a negative energy policy, rapidly declining food production, and tens of millions of illegal aliens.

Does this sound like somebody is building a country or destroying a country.

Their compensation package totals $89,500.

What I really hop today is that the pro-Govenor rally is significantly larger than the pro-union rally.
This is a message that would resonate across America.

What....the F.....are they protesting???!!!!!!!

Because they are being asked to contribute more to thier package as the private sector does, and they won't hear of it.

They are being asked to sacrifice AND keep their jobs...but they won't hear of it.

Guess they wanna be let go instead. Because it will happen if they continue. The Governor will have no choice if the State Budget is to be saved and the State not go into bankruptcy.

Even more ironic............these are the same left wingers who back in December demanded that rich people sacrifice more money for the greater good of the whole. Yet now asked to make the same sacrifice, they protest.

Looks like the Tea Party is mobilizing to Wisconsin.

A reminder to anyone going there. Don't act like Obama's commies do. No signs. Just show up and support the cost-cutting measures. Don't knock some teacher or La Raza member up side the head. It's what they want.

I guess we can see now why the Dems spent our money is such a capacious manner. Could it be so they could use the unions to cause civil unrest once the states and the GOP starts cutting to pay back the debt? It sure seems so. They've been telegraphing this for months. They've spent the money and we'd better not pay for it unless it's with higher taxes. 30% of the cost-cutting measures in Obama's 2012 budget are obtained through higher taxes. He didn't even take the time to do a 2011 budget btw.

I found this on Yahoo. It will explain in a perhaps over simplistic manner why they've been spending like they have.

Does Obama want civil unrest or does he truly believe he is helping?

I think he wants civil unrest and here is why. He can not effectively "change" anything without it being dismantled and destroyed and then rebuilt. The economic crisis is a perfect example of this.

Step 1: Pass legislation that increases government power with the so -called good intention of helping the economy. Some parts of this legislation actually circumvents the constitution and state rights.

Step 2: When this legislation passes and fails then this will cause an upset because the economy will crash, high taxes will be implemented on all classes and those who can't pay, their property will be confiscated by the government

Step 3: The mass confiscating of private property will cause massive riots and civil unrest. Obama will have no choice but to enact martial law (which basically removes the the rights of police and states from controling citizens while using the military or a military type force to enforce curfews and detain people who are perceived as a threat to the public and the government. This also does away with habeas corpus-protection from unlawful imprisonment)

Step 4: Once Martial Law is enacted then the constitution can easlity be dismantled or re-written. This has actually been used in other countries just for that purpose and also it has been used to quiet political opposition.

I feel sorry for those who keep burying their heads in the sand because they have no clue that our rights can be gone in a blink of an eye with some well placed government strategies and by the time these people figure it out, it will be too late.

Of course. As a matter of course these are te same folks that belive that they are owed a living on the backs of others.

And yes a case for the proverbial having your cake and eating it too.

How about the protesters should have read the bill first before they just marched out protesting?
Why should the Gov. have to read and explain it to them?
Oh yeah, everything must be done for them, don't take any responsibility.

And if violence happens? Whom will throw the first punch? Will it be enough for the Gubmint to declare Marshal Law, as i suspect some Gubmint officials are just salivating to do?
