Obamacare was never passed. The public option didn't make it through. The No-Health-Care-Plan-Fuck-You Republicans in Congress decided you weren't good enough to get the same coverage they have.

Failing that - the only way we can expect insurance companies to cover pre-existing conditions is if people are paying into the system their whole lives.
