Why Are Obama's Numbers Falling?

I would like to see everyone on this thread have their life exposed to the world to the extent Obama's life and personality is and see what their ratings would be.

Obama's numbers were so high they were bound to come down. His numbers are still respectable. The numbers that will count the most will be in 2011.

Several individuals on this thread would have single digit approval ratings at best.

And you know who you are.

I can explain a little bit. The republicans that voted for him don't like him anymore. Everyone should expected that. Here is a guess about another reason: Obama has NOT closed Gitmo, has not pulled us out of Iraq (yet), has continued surveillance (which actually shouldn't surprise anyone; he voted for fisa), is increasing the number of troops in afghanistan.

add the fact that a shitload of people are still getting laid off across the country with little HOPE for re-employment...

Some economists are stating this will be a "job-less" recovery. Others are stating that we may not see any real job gains for the next 5 years!!!!

Hey--we don't need to talk about Europe's unemployment numbers with socialism as the primary reason--we may already be there.

When will Americans finally realise that big massive government spending--does not equate to private sector job growth?

The voters know that the democratics control it all now - Presidency, House, and Senate...

They are damn sure going to remember who was in control as they were told their company could no longer afford to keep them...

Your post line quotes Winston Churchill saying if you have enemies you are standing up foer something. That is a good thing.

He is standing up for he feels will make America better. Winston Churchill would like Obama even if you do not.

None of us are making the difference that Obama has taken on. None of us have shown the balls to put our selves out there to put forth solutions and take the criticism that comes with it.

Whether Obama is a success or failure he is showing more guts than anyone here.

I gave Bush the benefit of the doubt for 3 years. I felt after 3 years the results spoke for themselves.
The same will be true for Obama. We will see how he leaves the country as compared to when he took office. The economy, the wars, our international standing, health care.

I feel all will be better at the end of his term than the start of his term. As far as I was concerned all of those elements were worse when Bush left office than when he took office.

The verocity of some individuals hatred toward Obama goes beyond the man and his actions. There is something else fueling the emotion. Especially when it is so earlly in his term.

I am saying like Bush you will not know results for 3 or 4 years.

In the end I felt Bush had guts but poor leadership skills and he was not the brightest buld in the bunch.
