Why are gangs treated as a law enforcement issue instead of military?

Worst gang in the US is MS13. Founded in El Salavador, and comprised largely of illegal aliens they're the biggest gang threat in the US. Yet we treat them like any local street gang and task police with combatting them. If ISIS were conducting regular operations in the US, also made up of illegal aliens, the military would be tasked with their destruction, not the police. So why the double-standard? Why isn't the military bombing the hell out of El Salvador refuges where MS13 is hold up? Why isn't special operations command sending in 'wet teams' to wipe them out here on US soil?

Posse Comitatus? Perhaps it's time to repeal that for the changed world we have and call a spade a spade. Police aren't equipped to wipe out terrorists. We need miltary forces to handle military forces.

You're actually advocating that the United States become a police state.

Delta, you've said a lot of crazy things before, but now you've reached a new boundary of total lunacy.
