Here is a refresher, for the amnesic right:
Bush: Who knows if he's hiding in some cave or not. We haven't heard from him in a long time. The idea of focusing on one person really indicates to me people don't understand the scope of the mission. Terror is bigger than one person. He's just a person who's been marginalized.... I don't know where he is. I really just don't spend that much time on him, to be honest with you.'
March, 2002
January 28, 2003 Bush's State of the Union Address includes this 16-word sentence: "The British government has learned that Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa."(Transcript of "State of the Union").
Former Colin Powell Chief of Staff Lawrence Wilkerson told MSNBCs Ed Schultz Wednesday that President George W. Bush wasnt interested in bringing Osama bin Laden to justice.
I dont think they really wanted to get bin Laden, Wilkerson said.
You could be very cynical and say he didnt want to get him because once they got him the war was over and that left all the political advantage gone, he added. Or you could say that they knew that it was almost an impossibility to get him given what they had done to the intelligence and other aspects of the government that you needed to get him. They just about ruined it.
MSNBCs The Ed Show, broadcast May 11, 2011.

Bush USED 9/11/01 for political gain, and warped the facts into justification for his personal war. Blaming Obama for al Qaeda today is akin to blaming Eisenhower for WWII!
