Bush did start the trend of removing middle east dictators.
He ran the country into the ground! Was it really worth the trillions and trillions of dollars that he pumped into an unnecessary war just to remove some dictators that will probably be replaced with more dictators? He's responsible for a great deal of the problems we have today.
He is responsible for the outrageous debt that conservatives are now crying about.
Yeah, that, OR... We've been doing it since the 50's.
Not the way Bush did.
Bush was right, he freed the middle east
yeah, they were actually able to do it without getting thousands of americans killed and wounded in the 50's.
Bush had a US-centrist freedom-agenda.
Freeing places like Iraq, Syria and Iran.
He had no freedom-agenda for Egypt, Jordan, S.Arabia or Tunisia as those countries were in the gravity zone of the USA.
Places like Egypt or S.Arabia have been introduced as 'moderate block' of Arab countries during Bush's term.
(...) increasingly from American influence.
Giving Bush credit for what the people did themselves? That's the same trick used in giving Reagan credit for bringing down the Berlin Wall. Gorbachev didn't do it at Reagan's insistence, the German people did it on their own. Give brave people the credit they deserve. Considering the relatively peaceful events in Egypt, why not credit Obama's Cairo speech, rather than someone who had to trump-up and cherry-pick reasons for going to war? There's a reason Obama won a Peace Prize and Bush never will!
yeah, obama certainly earned it.
Thats true. Bush had the Nazis on his side. That always helps.
