    Anyone notice anything weird?

Don't you think we'd have heard of one family losing 8 members back in 2001?

Perhaps she investigated the spiritual path offered by Islam and found its deeper meaning. Most Americans only have the faintest concept of any religion outside of the Judeo-Christian millieu and their exposure to other religions, even Islam, is shallow, at best. As for the terrorists who claim to act in the name of Islam, they do so in contravention of many of Islam's most fundamental tenets and their own grasp of their religion is tenuous or non-existent.

Perhaps. Did you catch the 'family with 8 losses' back in 2001/2002? I didn't. Considering all the family stories, don't you think this would have qualified? 8 members and all? Interesting that no names of the victims of the WTC were given, which of course could have been searched? Guess the reporter didn't think the 'excuse' for a story worth going into...

Your first statement is true. Because so few Americans know anything but sound bites about Islam, and because most Americans follow Christianity, most Americans have no idea how different Islam is from Christianity. Most Americans know about as much about Islam as they do about Judiasm. Which is pretty much next to nothing.

Your second statement is false, and is one of the sound bites that people ignorant of Islam do manage to absorb.

Terrorists are following Islam to the letter. Islam's most fundamental tenets are exactly what the terrorists are following.

What's With This? What's with this is that she's non-white. Hispanics are converting to Islam by the busload, blacks by the welfare line. The bottom line is that they see it as the anti-white statement du jour. Nationality, employment... all this falls away in the face of race. Nationwide, there are very few white converts to Islam, and I'd say most of those are pretty obvious attempts to announce that "I may be white, but I'm cool."

This isn't a religion war, it's a race war. The sooner whites see this, the better. Presently, they're keen to think of the world's troubles as ANYTHING but racial. So keen, in fact, that they're sacrificing the futures of their children to do so.
