I joined when my daughter went to college last fall as another way to keep in touch. Thank God my youth was before all this electronic crap!

Unfortunately, I started playing Mafia Wars on Facebook and yikes! it's kind of addicting.

I grew up just at the start of the technology explosion, but I think it's gotten out of hand, but meh ... going with the flow for now and hoping we get wise as a society before we're too dependent on it.

Since it's your whole life you better hope that doesn't happen too soon.

Meh ... I wouldn't mind, getting some fresh air by force wouldn't be so bad ... although then I'd have to find another career again ... still, it'd be nice to go to a coffee shop and order a cup of coffee even when their registers fail.
