border patrol is getting doubled...among other things
I don't know about:"No amount of added security at the border is going to solve the problem"
Sure it would be expensive, but a couple thousand miles of the following couldn't help but be effective...
im thinking something like whats between north and south korea could work too!
I'm afraid it's gonna take something outta the 'miracle' thread, myself.
I recently met with the coast guard's boarder czar...he was not opptomistic
see that is the problem right there....we got guys in boats patroling the desert
You would think they would notice that boats do not travel well in sand...not to mention that boats get lousy gas mileage on dry land.
bet it's hard to sink those bastards tho ! :rotflmao:
You know I think your right to a degree, I read theres only 3000 border patrol agents, sort of sad if you compare the numbers to say New York's police department Has 35,000. I hate to say it but it's only a matter of time till something happens and it traced back to border security. Then the politicians will care. I think the National Guard should set up fences and patrol, Personally I'm tierd of seeing fences that wouldn't keep a dog in the yard.
