I live on a farm as you know, and currently we use mostly a 1965 Ford 4000, which is considered Medium-Small in most categories. Personally, I like it, except we cannot drive it 'legally' on the road now since 1 headlight is out, and now they've made it where you have to have more then the standard back-lights...at least in Tennessee.
So here is my dream tractor, I hope to buy it once I start my own farm in 25-40 years [farming isn't cheap ]: The New Holland T7000 Series, Agricultural Tractor:
Agricultural-Tractors New Holland T7000 - Models, technical data and characteristics
Yea, that is pretty big, and expensive, but that could do anything I'd need done on my farm once I get it, and it'd last forever if you take care of it right. To be honest, that is relatively cheap, my cousins have 7 John Deere Combines on their farm, that I know of, and I think added up, they easily spent over a million dollars, maybe even close to 2. [They buy them new, but they also have insane insurance coverage and they have a long warranty.] I am not going to need a combine on my farm once I get it, why? I only want to raise Hay, and maybe some fruits/vegetables, but mostly hay. I just love hay, I love baling it, I love pushing it off the back of trailers/trucks, and I just love it. Sorry, kinda weird but eh, just me .
Anyways, what is yours? I await the first person who puts a new "tractor" that is really a lawn mower up haha . Merry Christmas & Happy New Year people.
