Why is 90% of this board deciding which of the 2 candidates should get to spend the theft of my property?

We're becoming a sociallist country. Socialism doesn't accept the concept of personal property...

It's all about giving everyone equal slice of the pie. It doesn't work but that's the way these people think.

Equal slice of the pie as in opportunity: Wasn't that the 'American dream'? Also I think you're talking about Communism, not Socialism.

The "American dream" was a life free of oppression where everyone had a chance to live life on their terms.

We've never really owned real estate, at least since the inception of property taxes. If you fall on hard times and get 2 years behind on those taxes, you lose your home. I've always hated that and think that should change. Once you pay the mortgage, no one should be able to take your home away from you.

It's amazing how many think the government rightfully owns everything we have and all the money we make and that they have the right to take what they want and redistribute it where ever they want. The only ones who can possibly support that are either the ones who are in power and above all their stupid laws or those who think they'll benefit from the redistribution.

It's been warned for centuries that when the majority can vote themselves money from the people, it's the beginning of the end for the country.

    Have sigs switched off..

Let me guess, you are one of these "libertarians" where it's all about "me, me, me, my, my, my, mine, mine, mine" ? right?

Don't like to live in a society, go live on an uninhabited island. Of course, you will be trained as an electrician, plumber, road worker, chef, carpenter, farmer, sewer worker, clothing manufacturer, roofer...I could go on..

That's a bit hard in these days of globalisation. You can't live life on your own terms unless you have the resources and space to live as a hermit.
