What democrats are doing wrong

Right off the bat I will say this. If I'm wrong, feel free to prove it.

• No jobs bills, not since Obama came into office and possibly even before
• No training/retraining bills for all the people whose jobs went overseas
• NO mention of touching big business, banks, or Wall Street
• No Pentagon/Military cuts

I think the biggest problem with Obama is that he doesn't lead in so much as he reacts. he lets Reid and Pelosi set the pace, and that's part of the problem.

Obama himself came up a few job plans. One being the stimulus and others that were blocked by republicans, such as the creation of job programs that train people for jobs they would be otherwise unqualified for.

I agree with everything else you said. Defense spending has yet to be curbed and that's a huge chunk of the pie.

I would also add the conflict between Obama and the senate democrats over various issues.

the sunshine rule on not sighing laws until everyone had a chance to see it

obama is the latest president to sign in

more payday loan bills

this out of control government has been happening for quite some time

congress passes a bunch of bills that far exceeds our income

then when the debt limit is met

they turn around and say well we have to pay for the promises made

and around and around it goes

it is time to end the death spiral

no rational person believes

no household or business could ever survive for very long

borrowing 20 percent to meet the day to day needs


obama did make a bunch of very specific promises

not much of it has he kept his word on

he busted his first promise just days after taking the oath

I was pretty succinct in my first post. Democrats are accused of wearing blinders where it comes to Obama. I already know how every hater on the board feels. They don't actually need to verbally spew it again here.
