Weak polititions depend on media

Most polititions are gutless swine. All of there support is founded on propagnada continuing to promote them. Take Mit Romney for example, if the mainstream media didnt worship him then his existence in politics would fade, and him along with it.

Or Obama, if the mainstream 'news' didnt keep pushing his programs and instead focused on important facts like his circumvention of the constitution and his pro war policy then he would be impeached and forcibly removed from office.

This can be applied to virtually all of the polititions, it is an unofficial agreement between candidates and so called news orginizations. The polititions promote business and the status quo, and in return the media will promote them. Its all really sick how the people have put there faith into so called trusted news sources, only be betrayed by profit margins and concentration of power.

There is only one guy who has the ability to gain support without playing the 'reach around' media game. Thats Ron Paul. All attempts to demonize him in the media fails, all attempts to 'gotcha' him in debates fail, all attempts to smear him fails. Despite all attempts to throw off his message he continues to gain supporters.

Grassroot support cannot be stopped, and it has much more of an effect on a public that has just had it with corporate advertising and 'business as usuall'. The reason Ron Paul wont go away, and the reason he will be the next president is because rather then having empty talking points designed to smear the other candidate and gain a vote by the 'fear of the other' mentality he gains support by showing people that there can be another way. That we dont have to live our lives as servants to huge corporate power, and rich assholes. We dont need a government that monitors and regulates our everymove. We dont need an economy where success and failure is dependant on government support. We reject socialism, corporatism, and the police state.

OBAMA:..."By the end of this year, as promised, ALL SOLDIERS WILL BE OUT OF IRAQ!!!

[enter applause by liberals and MSM blushing with pride]

Fast forward one week....late on a Saturday night...a "minor" press release..."yes...no soldiers in Iraq...but we will keep a significant number in Kuwait....hey...now...that isn't Iraq...it is just nearby, course troops in Afghanistan will remain also".

MSM....[crickets]

Actually his promise was to have them out the first year he was in office. Not to end the war right before the end of his term so he can have a talking point on getting reelected.

Afganistan was also one of those promises.

Dropping bombs on another country without congressional aproval certianly wasnt one of his campain platforms either.

Neither was corporate socialism wrapped up in 'healthcare reform'.

Ending tax cuts for the rich was another empty promise.

Obama is pretty much a failure. His entire campain platform was a lie. All of it, a total lie.

He doesnt help unions. He doesnt help education. He doesnt help social security. He hasnt done anything about the cost of healthcare. He hasnt changed our foriegn policy. He hasnt 'made friends' around the world as promised. Policy has not changed on any front at all. He is just another lap dog to corporate power.

I voted for Obama, the first time around. I now realize that government is corrupt to the core. There is no fixing it. The best thing that can be done is to starve it of funding and work towards it effecting our lives as little as possible.

…and spell checkers.

Just go fuck yourself.

Kinda an interesting point. If Paul wins let’s say second in the first primary I wonder if the new reads "Ron Paul places in the top 5."

The right has been complaining about the ‘evil liberal bias media’ since the days of Nixon – accusing the media of everything from treason to murder. Yet during the 40-year period between 1969 and 2009, republicans held the WH for all but 12 of those years. Either the ‘evil MSM’ is dong a rotten job attacking poor helpless republicans or this whole ‘liberal MSM’ nonsense is a contrived myth by the right. The latter is clearly the case.

As for Ron Paul, his biggest problem isn’t the ‘evil liberal MSM,’ but the GOP.
