Just not too much ...

It is very important to drink lots of water because water prevents blood clots and prevents constipation.

In fact, the most important reason you drink water is, without it, hypernatremia sets in and can eventually cause loss of motor function, Rhabdomyolysis, kidney failure and death.

Of course too much water and you end up with hyponatremia, with many of the same symptoms and failures.

Which leads to the question.....when faced with not knowing if you are over or underhydrated....just water you gonna do???

Watch the color of your pee...
clear pee means you are drinking enough water. dark yellow pee means you are not drinking enough water and dehydrated.

If you get dehydrated too many times when young, you may get kidney stones when older. You do NOT want that.

There will be world conflicts over clean water someday because I dustry will contaminate it all in the name of a lousy dollar.

Kidney stones.

Healthy water intake helps prevent kidney stones.

If you've ever spent the night in the hospital with a loved one trying to pass a kidney stone, you would be drinking plenty of water...
