Having read through most of the threads on this topic, forgive me if I ask: Was there any, I mean any music prior to 1965?
Is there anyone here who knows anything, whatsoever, about Beethoven, Bach, Mozart, Verdi, Lehar, Vivaldi, Berlioz, Kalman, Brahms, Strauss or Gilbert and Sullivan and Lerner and Loew??
Or is MUSIC now defined as electronically "enhanced" (i.e. made noisier) noise, accompanied by pictures/images of drug-addicted, guitar-smashing nobodies who would be even bigger nobodies without the electronic amplifier?
Just asking.
