    Putin had to step down because he was term limited. It has been long enough that he can run again, and he is doing so.

    On the plus side, he has done a good job of running the economy. His civil rights record sucks, but he seems pretty popular.

    He's already running Obama and the DNC, you'd think he'd have a full plate

    If he were running Obama, we might see some moderate competence on the economic front here in the US.

    Last time I was in Russia was back in 93. I was watching a russian program on line and I was startled by how much Russia has changed over the years.

    He may be a total jerk, but he is a competent jerk.

    well, when Stalin is rated #3 among greatest "Russians", we shouldn't be surprised.
