What do you know, a big Government progressive who is happy that Government grew, just does not 100% support how we spend the money we had to borrow to grow the Government.

This is the problem with growing Government, it will expand once you create the program or start the war. This is why Newt is not a conservative by any measure, he supported the huge growth of Government into housing and Healthcare and education. Newt might have been around when Republicans balanced a budget, but it was policies that Newt did back then that helped destroy the economy that we live under today.

One more point, Newt helped pass the Amnesty only to later never make in a priority to enforce the laws that came along with that Amnesty… Now he is pushing for Amnesty again today. Shocker.
