They don´t. Their "control" as you call it does not base on a few ground attack planes deployed in Syria but on the strength of the Syrian military. Do you think the SAA couldn´t go to Afrin and blow that Turks and their terrorists away? It is because Russia lets Erdogan take a small part of the cake he dreamed of since 2011. And Damascus cannot afford turning Erdogan towards Washington, when the war should finally come to an end.The question is why should the Russians make this up?You honestly believe this nonsense?
