The McCarthyism morphed into the John Birch Society. It never went away. It has just changed it's name once again. But it's NOT QAnon which is fruitcakes Anon and has been around as long as mankind itself. MAGA members (and they are members) in the 50, 60s and 70s would have called themselves John Birch Society Members. It's no more insane or crazy than it was when Fred Trump was a card carrying member.

What's happening is, Rump is trying to keep control of the MAGAts. He can't anymore. He isn't their leader and really, never was. They used him to get into power, something they have never been able to do before in the history of the United States of America. What you are seeing is the dissolving of the MAGAts power. Give them another 4 years and they go back to the basements and back rooms from where they were before. Remember, they have always been there.
