I remember a thread on this topic from quite awhile ago.

It proved fdr was correct by requiring the west coast japanese to leave the west coast or be interred. so many misconceptions about that episode. the number one being the camps being labelled concentration camps. which is truly outrageous because that conjures up images of the nazi concentration camps, which is like comparing sunlight to darkness.

that day has not arrived..................yet.

what we are doing instead is to monitor the ones considered dangerous and or suspicious. there are a lot of them. we waste tremendous resources monitoring them.

so far most americans--even after 9-11 are still in denial, they simply stick their heads in the sand and prefer not to think about the danger posed by islamic radicals to america.

thus after all these years we are still fighting islamic terrorism. i wonder how long it would have taken fdr and his associates to defeat radical islam?

America under the leadership of FDR managed to defeat the combined mights of nazi german, imperial japan and fascist italy in a few short years Yet, here we are still fighting the war on terror going on 20 yrs.
