They talk about this on my Progressive Radio Shows. The psycology of it is that, for example, if people really let it sink in that Bush lied us into Iraq, we would have to do something about it. And since we aren't willing to hang the mother fucker or put him in jail, they choose to stay in the dark.

Or people don't want to think that Cheney might have been the one to send out the anthrax, which makes the most sense if you think it out.

Or that they did let 9-11 happen.

Or they purposely spread the troops thin because they wanted to bring in Haloburton/Blackwater.

Or that they did gouge us at the pumps.

Or that they purposely crashed the economy and got rich doing so.

Or that the rich maybe don't pay their fair share of taxes.

Just think, one of the things that makes this country better than other countries is the right to due process, a speedy trial & habius corpus, but Bush made himself King and gave himself the power to take these rights away from us. Even US Citizens (jose padilla)

Yea, and after 8 years of showing us exactly how the rich could exploit capitalism so that it benefitted them but hurt us, I find it very hard to get behind them when they cry about socialism.

After seeing our wages go down and the CEO's pay go up, I'm not so apposed to spreading the wealth around a little bit.

And since the GOP's phylosophy is to socialize all the losses and privatize all the profits, I don't see why it would be so bad to let MY GOVERNMENT reap some of the profits when today they are taking on all the losses.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. President Barack Obama benefits from a broadly held perception that others bear the bulk of responsibility for state of the U.S. economy, according to a Washington Post/ABC News poll published on Tuesday.

Asked who was responsible for the economic meltdown, 80 percent in the poll blamed banks, financial institutions and corporations. Some 70 percent also blamed consumers for taking on too much debt and the former Bush administration for lax regulation. Only 26 percent said the Obama administration was not doing enough to turn the situation around.

Two-thirds of respondents approve of the way Obama is handling the presidency, and 60 percent approve of the way he is handling the economy.

Sixty-four percent said were confident Obama's policies will improve the economy, down from 72 percent just before he took office in January.

Forty two percent said the country was now heading in the right direction, a five-year high. Late last year, when then-President George W. Bush was in its final months, as many as nine in 10 American said the country was heading in the wrong direction.

The poll of 1,000 adults was conducted Thursday through Sunday and had a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 3 percentage points.
