For once, you and I are nearing some kind of agreement. America should shut down immigration. Now, let's you and I get something straight:

Where you and I part company is that when wallists demand people come in the "legal" way, it is code for citizenship. Then, when you make citizens out of those people, they become voters - and the trend is they become Democrats. Ultimately, they kick YOU out of the country.

Take a walk back through history. How did the third world become the masters in this country? For me, it began in the early / mid 1970s when unemployment was over 8 percent. I lost one of my first jobs because they implemented racial quotas, affirmative action, reverse discrimination, etc. and the union laid me off over the color of my skin.

From that point, forward, every time I saw a sign saying "Equal Opportunity Employer," it screamed NO WHITES NEED APPLY. One year I got two interviews with EOE employers, neither of which resulted in a job. My fifteen minutes of fame came when the local papers and tv thought I articulated my position very well regarding these race schemes. My basic theme:

An employer owns the job they create. They know who the best candidate for the job is. Furthermore, I had no part in slavery. My father never owned slaves and neither did my grand father. Most males in my family rarely made it past 40. They worked in coal mines not on plantations.

If you're a little younger and can't relate to that, think about the jobs that are held in reserve for people just because they are Black, female, transgender, gay, Muslim, handicapped, etc. Everybody wants the job because they are this or that. Yet, early in America's history the employer owned the job. He generally hired from within the community and gave them preference. We didn't have walls, National ID cards, etc. We had preferential advantage by living in the community. Today, we submit to mega corporations and by the power of our wallets and purses allow them to stay in control.

It will only be when you have FEWER laws and allow the employer to hire the employee of their choice that the situation begins to reverse itself. You may have to pay more, initially, but we should be supporting small businesses, rebelling against BIG GOVERNMENT, and taking responsibility for our own destiny. If people cannot depend on a government handout; if employers hire from within a community - as they would naturally be inclined to do, we would not be having this discussion. If the government does not vet people, but rather your personal references and former employers vouch for you, then you can get a job based on your merits - NOT your color, immigration status, sex, religion, handicap, etc. but, rather whether you are a fit for the job.
