Looks like we are experiencing diplomacy in the "Art of the Deal"

China 'seriously concerned' after Donald Trump questions 'one China' policy - CNNPolitics.com

Trump wants trade concessions and a stronger Chinese involvement in North Korea. He starts by threatening the US One China policy unless China concedes
Looks like his tactics will be to threaten the status quo and demand concessions

I'm willing to let this play out and see what happens. Playing hardball can be a valid diplomatic strategy. But it also comes with some risks. Stirring up a beehive is not always the best way to get honey

The 'one China' policy cannot be bought and sold, Trump, it seems, only understands business and believes that everything has a price and that if he is strong enough he can buy and sell by force," it said.

The editorial warned that Trump, because of his "lack of hands on experience," was liable to be influenced and controlled by hardliners near him.
It added that if Trump ditched the "one China" policy, it would spark "a real crisis."

Fuck China

Why?

They sell us cheap stuff and hold down inflation. Like it or not, they are an economic power. Going back to the isolationism of the 1970s is not going to happen

Sucking up to China has worked wonders so far! They're stealing our technology and hacked Hillary's emails

Bed wetters are always scared of competition. Probably because they are used to losing in life.

Isn't Trump diplomacy an oxymoron?

We will find out

Right now, Trump seems to be relying on big stick diplomacy. Threaten your opponent first and then negotiate out of fear

Trump is taking a similar tact with Cuba

He is threatening to end all diplomatic ties and tourism unless Cuba agrees to more democracy
