    Only a politician use a stat where only 96k people find work, more people in the same month filled for unemployment than found a job (by a LARGE margin) and close to 400K have been unemployed so long then get tossed out of the labor force and have a positive effect on the the unemployment rate!

    Bigotbart :rofl::lmao:

    Well, since that 8 million is a completely made up number, it is certainly better than Bush's 20 million workers who gave up looking for work and 30% TRUE unemployment. :D

    Seriously, the number of workers who have given up looking for work is less than 1 million. So much for Bigotbart's credibility for what they call a "fact." :asshole:

    Employment Situation Summary

    Among the marginally attached, there were 844,000 discouraged workers in August, a
    decline of 133,000 from a year earlier.

    God, what a bunch of whinners.

    Half the people out there don't report their income on taxes.

    Come to Virginia. There are plenty of jobs.

    We are an aging country.

    10,000 Americans a day are retiring.

    There is going to be a labor shortage.

    Sorry, but it's nowhere near 19%. Now if you want to make an argument that your number includes unemployed and underemployed, then I would buy into that. There are many people out there who are working part-time jobs or even full-time jobs but they aren't earning enough to get by.
