Folks who actually deal with gun crime do not support arming teachers. It's silly.

Either do I, not from the federal level. If a local school system wants to put armed personnel in their schools, that's their choice.

Did I say that? No I did not. OF COURSE it warrants a reaction. It does NOT however give the Attorney General the right to bypass the constitutional and turn the military on US citizens.

See now THAT (sans vulgarity) is much more of a winning argument. Prohibition doesn't work. People smoke pot if they want to; they drank alcohol during prohibition, if they wanted to; Even where abortions were illegal, women got them if they wanted them. So criminals will get guns (on the black market if they have to) if they want them and so will otherwise law-abiding people who want them.
