"The tragedy unfolded...."

I just googled "tragedy unfolded" and had 4,290,000 hits.

Thoughtful people (and there are so few of us) want to know:
1. WHO folded this tragedy?
2. WHEN?
3. WHERE?
4. WHY?

Can these questions be answered?

What else do thoughtful people want to know?

Tragedy must be one of those cheap road maps you used to get at gas stations. Once you unfold it, it's a bitch to fold back up the right way.

These are questions only a ChemEngineer would ask.

I'll give a good answer: A tragedy doesn't "unfold", it usually happens instantaneously. It's the historical interpretation of the tragedy or the media's reporting of it that "unfolds."

Fog of War and all that.

You can probably google "zombie apocalypse" and get the same number of hits but it doesn't mean it happened or likely to happen.

So your "thoughtful" analysis is that tragedies do not happen, do not unfold.

1. The Russian invasion of Ukraine is a tragedy which continues to unfold daily.
2. The treasonous acts and incompetence of Joe Stumblebum Biden is a tragedy which continues to unfold daily.
3. The crush of foreigners who invade America's southern border is a tragedy which continues to unfold daily.

I hope that in the future, you will add something to discussions other than confusion and nonsense.
