White people donât have advantages. The new white revolution just isn't happening.
One year after Charlottesville, the alt-right is gathering again â in Washington
Jane Coaston
At last yearâs Unite the Right rally, hundreds of members of the alt-right and white supremacists gathered in Charlottesville, Virginia, purportedly to defend a statue of Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee, as it faced removal approved by the City Council. The event was supposed to be the alt-rightâs zenith, coming into its own as a real political force with real political power â and, tangentially, grabbing the ear of the president.
The event began with a torchlit rally where attendees shouted, âYou will not replace us!â (some replacing âyouâ with âJewsâ). The next day, the event attracted a counterprotest, during which a self-avowed Nazi sympathizer drove a car into a crowd, killing a young woman. Afterward, President Donald Trump famously remarked that there were âvery fine people on both sides.â The events werenât the high point of the alt-right but the beginning of the end of the alt-rightâs real or imagined political effectiveness.
And on August 11, theyâre doing it again â this time, outside the White House.
Itâs not clear how many people will attend Unite the Right 2 â many white nationalists have already said they have no interest in going, while others who might otherwise attend are enmeshed in legal troubles stemming from last yearâs rally. Meanwhile, organizers of the coalition DC Against Hate have told at least one outlet that they expect at least 1,000 counterprotesters to attend events aimed against Unite the Right 2 under the banner âShut It Down DC.â

I am curious to learn, approximately how large is America's population of 'White Supremacist"?

Peace.
You've got to ask just how stupid can people be to ask such a question. Are you Kanye West or something?
Most Americans Oppose White Supremacists, But Many Share Their Views: Poll
A new poll in the wake of the violence in Charlottesville, Virginia, finds that while Americans widely say they oppose racism and white nationalism, many still appear to hold far-right, white supremacist views.
The Ipsos poll, for Thomson Reuters and the University of Virginia Center for Politics, was conducted online from Aug. 21 to Sept. 5 â in the weeks following the deadly white supremacist rally in Charlottesville. It sampled around 5,360 American adults, asking questions about race that respondents could agree or disagree with to varying degrees.
âWhile there is relatively little national endorsement of neo-Nazis and white supremacists,â according to the release describing the pollâs findings, âthere are troubling levels of support for certain racially-charged ideas and attitudes frequently expressed by extremist groups.â
While the vast majority of Americans polled expressed support for racial equality when asked in so many words â 70 percent strongly agreed that âall races are equal,â and 89 percent agreed that all races should be treated equally â peopleâs responses got murkier when it came to expressing their viewpoints on particular issues related to race and extremism.
Thirty-one percent of Americans polled strongly or somewhat agreed that âAmerica must protect and preserve its White European heritage.â
For instance, while only 8 percent of respondents said they supported white nationalism as a group or movement, a far larger percentage said they supported viewpoints widely held by white supremacist groups: 31 percent of Americans polled strongly or somewhat agreed that âAmerica must protect and preserve its White European heritage,â and 39 percent agreed that âwhite people are currently under attack in this country.â
âThe poll results do show both an American public that overwhelmingly rejects racist affiliations and movements but at the same time is more tolerant of racially insensitive positions,â Kyle Kondik, communications director at the University of Virginia Center for Politics, told HuffPost.
âThe results may be what you might expect from a country that is arguably defined by racial conflict,â he added. âAnd one that can vote for an African-American for president who ran on unity less than a decade ago, and then turn around and vote for a vehemently anti-immigrant candidate who exploited white grievances just last year.â

We are talking about approximately 100 million people. Maybe more.
Well that's because both of those questions are misleading.
There is nothing inherently wrong with wanting to preserve your white European heritage. Is there anything wrong with wanting to preserve your black African heritage? No? Didn't think so. What is IMPLIED, that is not even in the question, is do you want to preserve your white European heritage at the expense of others. Which is what happens when you draw a parallel between that question and white supremacy.
And are white people under attack in this country? Yes, to some extent. There are definitely people out there who hate white people (such as IM2). Again, it's misleading because the implication is that you feel that EVERYONE is attacking white people (some kind of white genocide belief), when really you could respond yes because you heard of some instances where white people were attacked for being white (which definitely happens), or don't feel diversity quotas are fair, or whatever.
You can answer yes to both questions easily without being racist at all.
I don't hate white people junior. White people are not under attack son. White people are doing the attacking under a false pretense of how this is a white nation for whites only. Your claim of me hating white people is the same type of claim you are talking about in the examples.
You are 26 years old. When you were born I was 31. I have see both things you have seen and things you have not. I have seen 53 years of whites attempting to end civil rights for non whites. You have seen 26 years of whites telling you how unfair it is for whites to be denied by policy. But what they don't tell you is how for 188 years out of the 242 years of our existence as a country, by written law, the rules were white only. For 188 years the quota by written law was 100 percent white. And being told that in your screwed up mind amounts to hatred of whites instead of a truth you can't face. You repeat the silly shit you get told but you haven't checked statistic the first. For if these policies had been so bad on whites you would see it numerically. Instead white wealth and everything else has increased. AA has benefited whites the most and have raised the overall wealth in white families because white women have been the prime beneficiaries of affirmative action. The same goes for your so called diversity quotas. There has been no ADVERSE IMPACT to whites because of equal opportunity policies but as it has been said:
"When Youâre Accustomed to Privilege, Equality Feels Like Oppression"
I'm trying to live in the present. You want to keep living in the past.
Truth is, I never once tried to claim white people don't have advantages in this society. If I could wave a magic wand to make everything fair and everyone behave, I would. Unfortunately, I can't. No one can.
Also, I am 28 and a half. Not 26.
