...eliminated that would make me a happy camper: Inter-league play and the instant replay that has insinuated itself into the fabric of America's greatest game. We don't need either.

Inter-league play merely disrupts the schedule and the ebb and flow of the season, causes managers headaches trying to retool the rotation to be competitive, and yet trying to keep some good arms for the pennant race. If they insist on playing these type games, they should hang it up by July 31.

Instant replay is a joke...at least in baseball. You get a whiner coach such as Renteria of the Cubs who moans about every frigging call that goes against his team,,MAN! You could be looking at a 4 hour game. Get rid of the constant reviews and let the umpires do their job. It's worked for 150 years.

Of course this is just my opinion, but a completely valid one, nonetheless.

I'm not so down on the instant replay. A LOT of calls have been overturned, which indicates a high error rate for umpires, who I consider the best arbiters in any of the sports, except maybe tennis.

I like inter-league if it's limited to a few series early in the season.

I wish they would eliminate Wild Card teams and the Designated Hitter.
