All good things come to an end and my vacation is over. I am back home and will get to sleep in my favorite coffin tonight and on soil that is familar to me. I had a great time. Left here and went to Williamsburg, Va for a couple of days. I was living there when I got married to the Countess. Then went south for 10 miles or so and visited with a friend overnight in Grafton, Va. From there went to the cottage we rented at Kitty Hawk, NC for a week. Ate plenty of sea food and caught a few fish here and there. Laid on the beach and had a few cool ones. Went everywhere on the Outer Banks you could go without getting arrested. From there went to relatives house in Rocky Mount, NC for a couple of days and then to my daughters house in Wake Forest for a couple of days. (The grandkids nearly picked me clean...) Took 40 back through the mountains and stopped for a couple of hours in Ashville, NC. Then began the actual journey home. Spent the night in Lexington, KY and left there this morning at 9:30 am and got home here to the farm at about 7:30 pm. Unloaded the truck all by myself while the wife talked to all of her friends on the telephone. (I think this was planned.) Anyway, it's good to be back home. Now, my questions... Were you guys able to solve any of the world's problems while I was away? Did you all miss me and long for the hour that I would return? I'm back so you can begin to post all of the more difficult things that have been making you scratch your head. I can solve those problems for ya! I'm a bit low on my blood intake so I'll be getting out and about to replinish... Please keep your necks bare tonight.
