Why isn't motherhood enough "character, courage and commitment" for any woman? A thousand years of rational civilization learned to protect women from the horrors of warfare but today's "caring" liberal establishment fools gullible women into enlisting and lets them get blown up by IED's out of some perverted sense of fairness.

If the US military is reduced in force to the level the Obama administration wants the recruitment of women into the force will have to be greatly reduced. Very few woman are willing to serve in combat. And a small force has to have the flexibility to move troops from the office to the front line at a moments notice without any resistance. Lack of available funds has a restricting effect on operations. General Creech of TAC said it best, “You don’t do more with less you do less with less“. When you have less money to work with something has to be cut. By reducing the number of women in the force, support for women can be cut. Now don’t get me wrong, I love women, but in the military there is only one thing that really matters and that is the mission everything else is secondary.

Obviously the real solution for a low cost military is the draft, but we know that liberals will never do that.
