Sen. Richard Blumenthal really has a different way of spelling ‘ISIS-inspired terrorist attack’

Lots of lefties are blaming the NRA (even Obama did, without mentioning names) for the terrorist attack in Orlando and refuse to acknowledge the elephant in the room, but Connecticut Sen. Richard Blumenthal must have dislocated his shoulders with this massive swing for the PC fences:
“The Senate’s inaction on common sense gun violence prevention makes it complicit in this public health crisis. Prayers and platitudes are insufficient. The American public is beseeching us to act on common sense, sensible gun violence prevention measures, and we must heed that call.”
There was a “public health crisis” at a club in Orlando that killed 50 people? Well, that’s one way of putting it.
Possible alternate headline: “Progressive U.S. senator unwittingly declares radical Islam a ‘public health crisis.'”

P.S. Thanks for the correction in comments that Sen. Blumenthal hails from Connecticut and not Massachusetts — I knew that, but his comments were so stupid that I guess I could think nothing other than “Massachusetts progressive” when I read them.
