Let's be real. The Dem. party isn't very good at keeping their base motivated. The "Republican" Party can whip their zealot hoard into a veritable frenzy, but the best The Dems can do is ask for a golf clap.

Republicans say: F~ck the people who don't agree with us! we aren't here to sing Kumbaya. We're going to go for the jugular and not give a flying f~ck.

But Dems are like: oh, we might hurt somebody's feelings. We don't want sexually repressed rednecks not to like us.

Well guess f~cking what! They don't like you and they never will. the more touchy feely you get with them, the more they think you are all a bunch of fruity commie squishes. Sack up and give it to them as good as they give it to you when you're in power. Don't "let's reason together"! f~ck that sh!t. Tell the people how unpatriotic they are for worshiping Ayn Rand characters. And remind them what our country was REALLY founded upon. And stop acting all apologetic and guilty! WTMF is wrong with you p~$$ies. Be mfn proud of what you stand for. Maybe some people will hate you, but the voting public will actually respect you for once.

    in summary GROW A PAIR! (and i don't mean boobies :p )

I think the 2006 and 2008 elections would disagree with you.

The Republicans behave the same way with the left when they are in control. In fact, I would argue that the left has been far more effective over the years of pushing their agenda through than the right has.

They have been weak ever since the republicans rubbed their noses in the Clinton impeachment, and it doesn't look like they will ever bounce back. They just had 2 years to do something, and nothing happens.

    huh...WHA?!?!?!?!?

Shrubbie passed Ted Kennedy's education bill, transportation and ag bills loaded down with pork from both (R)s and (D)s, the prescription drug scam that the (D)s had been whining about for decades, the "new tone", on and on and on....And in the true form of spoiled rotten little democrat brats, it still wasn't enough for them.

Later on, Barry Obolshevik and his Marxist glee club in congress performed a classic cramdown of health care deform without a single (R) vote, and a financial regulatory deform bill with minimal backing from but a scant few of the squishiest of (R) squishes.

Time to quit smoking that crappy imported Mexican brick weed, dude....Reality awaits.

right, but they didn't get a public option, so they had to include a Romney-esque mandate, to appease the insurance companies.

then there is Part D, which was passed by a Republican congress, and is a total corporate welfare package. Don't blame the "left" for that one :p

because the dems ARE "a bunch of fruity commie squishes".

That is why they roll over for Bush every time he asked for anything, and why the dems need a 60 seat super majority to get a bill passed thru the senate and the repubs only need a bare majority.

That is why Obama compromises with the repubs and destroys every plausible idea his party unites behind while the GOP openly declares an all "NO" approach to partisan politics.

Dems are pussies. Get used to it.

Throw both parties out and get somebody real in their place.
