Gallup traditional poll is now +8. If that's what it is, fair enough but just a few days ago it was +2. Other polls have been flip flopping worse than John Kerry. Seems like they're all jockeying to make sure they don't screw up.

What's happened since then? McCain has made a fool of himself and Obama gave a nice speech on national tv.

33 million homes tuned in to Obamas commercial, millions more are watching it on youtube etc. He has been dominating the news cycle with Clinton, this bump could very well be attributed to these events.

Polls are three day rolling averages so Obama's infomercial would only effect one day of polling. But I'm not just talking the last day or two, the polls have been all over the place the last couple weeks both for Obama and for McCain.

I think one thing is for sure: Obama better win or the pollsters are gonna have some serious explaining to do.

Since his infomercial was Wednesday night and the polls released yesterday were for Monday-Wednesday, today would be the first day that the Gallup poll would reflect the "infomercial."
