The GOP no longer sticks to its principles. It barely even pays lip service to its core principles any more because it chokes on its own words when it does. The GOP is all about Big Government, Big Spending, and fear, and pessimism. The GOP President, House, and Senate put to death any doubts about that.

The one sure way to tell the difference between a conservative and a liberal when I was a much younger man was that the liberal was the one who was whining.

Those of us who are sickened by the UnConservatives despise Obama and everything he stands for. The difference between a Conservative and an UnConservative is that a Conservative can give sound, logical, rational reasons for opposing Obama, and provide sound, logical, rational alternatives and solutions.

An UnConservative hates Obama and the Democrats because they are Obama and the Democrats. They are mindless parroting dweebs who could not logic their way out of a kindergarten word problem.

And they are hateful people. Hateful, pessimistic, bigoted assholes.

The only solutions out of an UnConservatives mouth is what they are told to repeat. Stupid shit. "Voter ID!" "Death panels!" "God hates fags!" "I blame the CRA!"

On and on and on with stupid shit. Not one single workable solution comes from the GOP today. Not one.

I think that statement is misleading. Given that the majority of the party is really what the party is... Then what really happened is that the party has become fractured and is no longer as strong as it once was.

"A minority of the party is disenchanted with the direction of the party" is much more accurate.

And while it is a minority, it seems to be around 15-20% of the party, in a two party system that's way more than enough to spell doom for an election in a two party system.

The biggest hurdle for the republican party to get elected to president isn't Obama... It's Ron Paul. Or essentially the party itself given that Ron is a republican.

The cuts are there to be made, but the Reps won't even meet 1/4 of the way. How long do they think they can keep fooling the voters? They're already realizing that "don't tax the job creators " was crap. We haven't. Where are the jobs?
