We all remember the Monroe Doctrine. Then there was the Truman Doctrin, which said
"to support free people who are resisting attempted subjugation by armed minorities or by outside pressures."

There was the Bush Doctrine:
After 9/11 the phrase described the policy that the United States had the right to secure itself against countries that harbor or give aid to terrorist groups, which was used to justify the 2001 invasion of Afghanistan.[1][2]

And now we have the Obama Doctrine. The Obama Doctrine is a doctrine of world peace. It states that in the event of any conflict, U.S. policy will be to surrender unconditionally. At least after lengthy talks, finger wagging, scolding, and telling other people what their interests are. This is for world peace.
The Obama Doctrine was first on display in the Russian Reset.
We see it coming in the Mid East conflict, where Obama is surrendering on behalf of Israel.
And now faced with crisis in the Ukraine he will invoke the Obama Doctrine and negotiate the return of Anchorage in return for assurances Putin won't hurt him.
