Polls released over the weekend seem to bolster Midterm election hopes. Mostly, Iowa polls show a tie between the mainstream candidates, but with not much reporting on details of the poll. So Des Moines Register reported some results over the weekend. 15% of rural voters support the Democrat, with 58% in support of the Republican. So about 70% of the rural vote has a possible preference. 30% do not. Women tend to support the Democrat, Men the Republican. Democrats generally do well among women. Probably the Republican support in the rural areas is only the best they can expect. That is more likely a fairly soft swing.

It is not clear yet if the Democrats have even started a ground campaign. GOP Koch Brothers money tends to support local advertisers, Radio, TV. . . .and, of course, even newspapers(?)! Even Hollywood understands about that.

This ain t good Des Moines Register Poll Has it Ernst 44-38#

The Democrat is trailing six points in the overall results, with twelve percent undecided. the margin of error exceeds 4 points. That part seems to have captured some national attention.
The newspaper seems to think that the ground has shifted in Iowa. In Napa, CA, it really shifted only weeks ago, which is now enjoying a recovered tourist boom. There was even rain and snow in California, just last week, and this weekend.

(What does anyone say when the two mainstream candidates are about viewed equally negatively?)

Bruce Braley is a piece of shit congressman and doesn't deserve to be our senator. He unashamedly voted for Obamacare and has yet to apologize for his vote.

Like in the Opening Post, that is fairly thin support for Ernst. Several millions would vote for Brayley, based on the support for ObamaCare. A lot of those are apparently, Republican governors.

Paying customers in Iowa stores is a goal of ObamaCare. Taking the money away from Iowa, to pay insurance execs, is the goal of Koch Brothers and of Ernst--who wants to castrate, all Iowa business enterprise, like in farming. ObamaCare is opposed to that.

(Brayley ObamaCare take money from insurance execs, and pay it to Iowa stores and coops instead. Koch Brothers / Ernst want Iowa stores and coops castrated instead! No more money for Iowa Consumers, mantra of Koch Brothers and of Ernst family members, without exception. AvgGuyIA opposes money in pockets of Iowans, like Koch Brothers, Ernst.! Make all Iowa pay instead, say Koch Brothers, and say Ernst!)
