    I totally agree. O'Connor is one of the reason why this country is in the screwed up mess that it is today. She was the swing vote when the Supreme Court appointed George W. Bush as president in 2000. Any positives she may have accomplished are severely tainted by that one major screw up.

    You did hear the final outcome of all the counting and recounting in Florida didn't you? Five and a half years later and you still can't admit that Al Bore lost the election. I suppose Kerry won too?

    I'm hardly the first to point this out, but to the media, when a conservative goes liberal, they refer to it as "leadership," "wisdom," "independence" or "maturation." They never say kind things about rock-ribbed conservatives who don't blink. When Scalia retires, they'll call him "prickly," "defiant", etc.
