BEIRUT: Following the FPM's weekly meeting Tuesday, Justice Minister Salim Jreissati read a statement from the bloc, saying "for the thousandth time" that the Lebanese Army is a "red line."
In a media statement after the meeting, Jreissati said the bloc expressed its full support for the Army and security forces "in the fight against terrorism."
He added that "this issue cannot bear any questioning."
The Justice Minister added that the bloc called on the government to "agree a clear-cut plan for the return of displaced Syrians [to their country] in compliace with Lebanon's international obligations."
The bloc also hit back at the United Nations, saying, "The United Nations is an international organization" but "it is not Lebanon."
