Derogatory? What are you talking about? It shows him in great light as a wonderful, sensible president who did not have any prejudices against Gay or Lesbian people. That can hardly be considered derogatory. It's absolutely Awesome! More Republican presidents should emulate him in that regard!If you agree with me, why do you post an article derogatory to him?
Dodged it? Not at all. President Washington may have had his faults of those times with the slavery issue, as did most everyone else and that is unfortunate, but as to the crux of what makes one happy it's that he was Pro-Gay and in that regard we can cheer him! Just like we cheer Dubya for signing the Child Refugee Bill in 2008 though we would not agree with much else of what he did while in office.Nice to see that you dodged my post.
