The Gun Control Laws The United States Needs

How about a law that says you must have an IQ of 60 or greater before starting a thread like this?

I like the idea IF we do the same for vehicles.

You bed wetters should just move to North Korea. There's no guns allowed in private possession at all.

You might get killed by an anti-aircraft cannon, but what the hell... Is that too big a price to pay for utopia?
You status quo people should really wake up. One day a majority of Americans will be so fed up with gun violence that they will do something like is proposed here. So you should do something now while you still have a say.
Nightly visit to those home of gun grabbers will be inorder.

Sounds good to me. What's an air rifle? Can you hunt with one?

Yes.

Wikipedia:
An air gun (or airgun) is any kind of gun that launches projectiles pneumatically with compressed air or other gases that are pressurized mechanically without involving any chemical reactions, in contrast to a firearm, which pressurizes gases chemically via an exothermic oxidation (deflagration) of combustible propellants which generates propulsive energy by breaking molecular bonds. Both the long gun and handgun forms (air rifle and air pistol) typically propel metallic projectiles, that are either diabolo-shaped pellets, or spherical shots called BBs. Certain types of air guns (usually rifles) may also propel darts or arrows.

And who is going to administer these tests? The Government? SOOOO.. The Government becomes the depository of all firearms over time and possesses all of the "weapons of war". Who will firearms be surrendered too? That's right the Government? (see point #1). And some government employee will determine who is and isn't permitted to own a firearm. I'm pretty sure most Mass Murderers would be more than happy to attend you classes and participate in the most idiotic thing I have ever seen posted on a Public forum. You are espousing the forfeiture of Constitutional rights and surrender of personal freedom and property to the government without due process. Please!!!!!!!! STFU!:fu:

Why on Earth would anyone go through all of that crap to be told all they can own is a shotgun or an air rifle?

Your whole concept is ridiculous and unconstitutional but this struck me as the most outlandish part of the whole thing (along with the 95% accuracy test). - which LEOs and most military couldn’t even pass)

The idea is to restrict and limit firearm use among civilians. You don't want to give weapons of mass destruction to just anyone. So, yes, having to get a 95% accuracy on the test is a good way to achieve that. Such an accurate shooter is less likely to cause an accident.

Sorry, but the Constitution says otherwise.
The 2nd Amendment is freely infringed, just look at age restrictions, no sales to felon, no sales of nukes... But the good thing is, you can read, so there's hope for you yet.
Twit. Do you realize that if I had around $250,000 of disposable income, and if I was so inclined, I could buy a WORKING tank with 10 rounds of WORKING ammunition?
The 2nd amendment may be infringed, but only because libs have snuck those infringements through.
In Illinois, you had to pay for an FOID (Firearm Owners ID). m That was recently struck down. You do not have to pay the gubment to own a forearm.
"The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."

Do you know any civilians that own working tanks?

You can't own a whole range of things like WMD, nukes, ... not just some old tank that the army doesn't want anymore.

If we’re gonna shit on our constitution anyway why not just ban dark people from owning / buying guns?
Think of how safe the blue shitholes would be if dark people had no guns?

Only 3 gun shops per county to help lower the circulation of guns among civilians. You can open your own gun shop if your county has a opening(less than three gun shops) and you can get a permit to sell the guns. Only Shotguns and Air Rifles.

Again, this sort of gun control would reduce the number of mass shootings as well as the homicide rate by firearms significantly. Anyone in the military, security or police forces has to under go many tests and is restricted in how and where they can use the weapons they armed with to do their job. In only makes sense that you would have laws that were even more restricted for the average joe, the civilian on the street. You don't want anyone to be allowed to own any type of weapon out there.

This is gun control that makes sense. Civilians should be under such restrictions when it comes to firearms which are dangerous.

At some point this will be adopted in the United States. The majority of the population will demand it. Its only a matter of time.

Now come up with a schedule of requirements for all protected rights.

Sounds good to me. What's an air rifle? Can you hunt with one?

How many hoops do you want to jump through for your First, Fouth and Fifith amendment rights?

How many classes should you have to pay for and take?

How many permits should you get?

No 4th Amendment classes passed with a high enough score? Tough shit. Cops can search your home anytime they want.

No permit for your 8th Amendment rights? Tough shit. While the cops are ransacking your home searching for contraband they can torture you at the same time

You live in a nation that protects liberty, including the right to arms.

You can:

1. Arm yourselves;
2. Shut the fuck up; or
3. GET THE FUCK OUT

.

.

Liberty. That includes the liberty to amend the constitution at any time to fit the current needs of society if need be. You can still arm yourself with a shotgun or an air rifle if you pass the test and background checks listed. The test and background checks are for everyone's safety. You don't want civilians running around with any old weapon. That's dangerous for public safety.

Besides, current shotguns and air rifles allow for much better shooting than the average musket in 1789 where a shooter could only load in fire three aimed shots in one minute at best. Accurate range in 1789 was also less than 100 meters when the 2nd amendment was passed.

Yeah see if you can add those amendments to the Constitution.

Don't hold you breath Comrade
