Just in case anyone forgot the millions massacred by United States action in Vietnam, there were some over 40K more killed after the troops left. By US landmines and bombs.

Could be a safe way to remove landmines...

Robots Clear Vegetation, Search for Unexploded Ordnance on Fort Bragg
Sep 18, 2015 | Unmanned construction equipment maneuvered through an impact area at Fort Bragg to chop down vegetation, while treading carefully for unexploded ordnance left behind after years of live-fire training exercises.

From what I understand from people of Vietnam. There are groups of companies specialize in this kind of job doing the clean up. Started 20 years ago but not sure.

    An
And how many of our guys that were there contracted cancer some fifty years later from being sprayed with Agent Orange? One man that was a dear friend suffered that same fate after everyone of the fellows in his platoon died of the same thing. That was some horrific chemical. It wasn't only our men that died as a result either, as many Vietnamese and their children's children were exposed. No different than nuclear waste, it destroyed the land.

You mean the innocent civilians killed while we fought to keep the communists from butchering all of those people....had the communists not attacked, there would have been no loss of life....moron.

    Today as much as ever:

    Hey, Hey, LBJ!
    How many kids
    didja kill today!!!

(Johnson was a prototypical Democrat who had not yet discovered the joys of murdering infants and parting them out)

    Well no.

    Vietnam was betrayed.

They were promised independence for helping the Allied efforts against the Axis.

Instead? They got to be France's colony again.

There was nothing "noble" about the US's despicable actions in that region.
